This work honors the Quetzal, a beautiful emblematic bird of Central America, greatly revered by pre-Hispanic cultures, including the great tlatoani Moctezuma, who used its feathers in ceremonial attire as a symbol of prestige and power. Its bright green and red plumage symbolizes freedom and beauty.
I thought about this work with a surreal and amusing theme that takes me back to childhood games, jumping over the roofs of adjacent houses with the neighbors.
