A captivating abstract art piece, “Hysteria,” measuring 122×91 centimeters, graced the opening day of the 2018 Kentucky Derby, held at the renowned Churchill Downs racetrack. The artwork’s vibrant colors and enigmatic composition evoked a sense of intrigue and wonder among attendees, adding a new dimension to the traditionally equestrian-focused event.

The Kentucky Derby, known as “the most exciting two minutes in sports,” attracted a diverse crowd of art enthusiasts and racing aficionados. As the excitement of the races unfolded, the presence of “Hysteria” served as a thought-provoking juxtaposition, offering a momentary escape from the thrill of horse racing. Visitors found themselves drawn to the artwork, engrossed in its expressive forms and vivid imagery.

The fusion of the Kentucky Derby’s exhilarating atmosphere and the enigmatic allure of “Hysteria” created an unexpected harmony. Attendees, ranging from well-dressed racegoers to art connoisseurs, engaged in stimulating conversations, contemplating the deeper meanings behind my creation.
