On these paintings I was trying to express how Moments in Time can help as a reminder of the power of contemporary abstract art to capture and convey the essence of a moment, without relying on traditional forms of representation or narrative.
By using color, texture, and form to create a visceral and emotional response in the viewer, abstract art can serve as a powerful means of exploring and understanding the world around us, and the moments in time that shape our lives.

As I stood before the painting, I felt as though I was standing at the edge of a vast cliff, with houses all around the hill and looking into direction to nowhere. The painting seemed to capture a single moment in time, frozen in abstract form, and I was struck by the intensity of the emotions it evoked.

Contemporary art in Chicago is thriving, with a diverse range of galleries, museums, and art spaces showcasing the work of emerging and established artists from around the world. From the cutting-edge exhibitions at the Museum of Contemporary Art to the experimental installations at the Hyde Park Art Center.
I tried to complement this magnificent artworks with some of my thinking, pondering the meaning and message behind each piece. As I gazed at each painting or sculpture, I allowed myself to be fully immersed in the artist’s creative vision, trying to see the world through their eyes.
I asked myself questions about the meaning behind the colors, shapes, and forms, and tried to draw connections between the artworks and my own experiences and perspectives.
By engaging in this process of critical reflection, I was able to deepen my appreciation for the art on display and gain a deeper understanding of the issues and themes that were being explored.
Ultimately, I left the exhibition feeling inspired and enriched, with a renewed sense of the power and potential of art to connect us to each other and to the world around us.
